Creation of Quotes for Customers and Prospects
Integrated Quotations in your CRM System
Your CRM system supports quote creation for customers and prospects. Quotes can have a status and can be tracked. Top Quotes can be set as a Dashboard item if you wish The sales process is integrated; leads to potential and in the potential view a quote can be created using ADD QUOTE button. Potential master data will transfer to the Quote. The plus button in the Quote report will present a Quote submit form.
Quotes Rely on Product Catalogs
The quote needs your Product or Service catalog and corresponding price lists. You must set up your Products in your CRM system prior to building a quote.This is done in your Inventory tab > Products. Products can be imported using your down arrow. Customized price books can be created.
Quote Customization
Your quotation form will accept your company logo, company details and terms and conditions. Set this up in SETTINGS. You are given one quote form. Additional forms can be added to your CRM account. This is a custom and a service fee applies. The quote form fields and picklists can be adjusted to match your business needs in SETTINGS > Customize.
Quotation Steps
Go to your Quote Entry form and enter your data:
- Subject: quote name, list the customer name perhaps.
- Potential Name: refer to a business opportunity
- Quote Stage: flexible quote stages if applicable.
- Valid til: expiry date.
- Team: this is for internal useage if a team is working the project.
- Contact name: the quote recipient.
- Carrier: shipping method if applicable.
- Inventory Manager: to recieve a notification of inventory usage.
- Account Name: customer or prospect company
- Assigned to: rep or sales person.
Address information includes Billing and Shipping address and will come from Account data.Your quote can be made to PDF. Your quote is now part of the sales process in CRM and is reportable.
